This year’s learning circle is already awesome! Our friends we are collaborating and learning with are in Georgia, India, Moldova, and Uganda.  Here is our first picture of friends in the country of Georgia.

Our first project for our Project Based Learning this year  is based on the California drought.  We would like to have information from other places around the world about weather and climate.  Is there a drought where you live?  Has climate change affected your state or country?  Comment below and let us hear about the weather you are experiencing!

Today is our first day of 6th grade in the 2015-2016 school year!  We are excited to blog with you about our experiences and learning in 6th grade and to make new friends around the world.  If you are an alumni from last year’s class, please print out any pages from your student blog that you would like to save.  On Aug. 16th your student blogs will be deleted to make room for the new students.  Please check in and comment on our new posts this year so we can learn from you and keep in touch.
